What, no interrobangs‽

I like the way Missy had the smarts to disappear immediately.

Umbrage as America's most plentiful natural resource... I love it.

Since the first time Scott portrayed himself responding to a reader with a 'How dare you?!', I have used that - playfully - whenever a commenter rightly points out one of my many errors...

"That's not very satisfying."
"Next time, I'll endeavor to dare more satisfyingly."
"I will have satisfaction! One way or the other!"

This had me giggling anew at every panel. Well done.

Also, I'm already most of the way through Spell or High Water. I'm really enjoying it!

I feel this is relevant: Monty Python's Argument Clinic. The second panel in particular reminded me of that one.

Of course there are no interrobangs ‽ because they are ambiguous. Which of either "?!" or "!?" would be implied? There's is a significant difference between what's represented by those two expressions for people who have observed such distinctions. It helps if basic instructions are as clear as they are concise.

When you cosplay, Missy doesn't join in?

What? No great deals on your book for US readers? How DARE you, Sir?!

My best friend and I used to have "dialogues" similar to this. We still do, occasionally. It's always fun to break out the long words and formal grammar.

Also, I love the "Southern Gentleman" look. The smoking jacket and scarf is great, too, but it feels a little... British?

That second panel grabbed me by surprise.

Amazing!

You can't LET people take umbrage. That'd be Communism. They have to EARN it!

This seems familiar, but isn't marked as a rerun. Is there another one similar enough to make me think this is a rerun?

Note from Scott:It wasn't a rerun, so yeah, it probably just seemed familiar to you.

Ah, the bountiful umber mines of Colorado!

Scott, been reading you for more than a year now, but this just made my otherwise boring night in a hotel room. Thank you and greetings from Kenya!
