Scott, Have you ever considered adding a random comic button to the site's homepage? It seems like it would get people to stay on the website longer and therefore increase add revenue etc. Also great comic, as usual.
OMG, I snorted aloud at The Judge's line in panel 4! Which didn't really go over well when the other board members wanted to know what I found so amusing about our quarterly sales figures and TPS reports.
@Hiram Didn't you get the memo about the new coversheets? I'm sure that once you explained to Basic Instructions to The Bobs, they went along with it. But maybe I shouldn't jump to conclusions.
I don't get it, why does Omnipresent Man have to ask the Knifeketeer anything? Wasn't he there when the knives were stolen? Wasn't he there when MacraMayhem "gave" them back? Did Omnipresent Man lose his powers as well? If he did, where would he end up?
I guess Omnipresent Man was there but he may have been not paying attention. As for a random button to generate extra revenue, how about a button to order a random book from Amazon... um... maybe not.
I've often admired your combination of industry and laziness in getting this comic out, Sean. But this one really shines, making it clear how you reuse and remix character poses. :)
(Knifeketeer in panel 1 is flipped left/right for panel 3; Knifeketeer in panel 2 is resized for panel 4; and the other two characters from panel 1 are just slightly resized in panel 4.)

My favorite part about this comic is how the head knife is half missing in the first three panels. It cracked me up.
Is the "pointed stick" a Monty Python reference?
Is "pointed stick" a Monty Python reference, or am I reading too much into it?
Learned something new today - or maybe not.
There is apparently a significant crossover of the
Basic Instructions and Monty Python audiences.
Hmm. Yeah, I guess that figures.
See? Obviously we need more and stronger knife control laws.
Joe: While I like the random comic idea, note that this comic isn't ad-supported.
Monty Python, Basic Instructions, Hitch-Hiker's Guide, and Star Trek: The stuff of geek comedy genius.
Omnipresent man is my favourite character, or "favorite" as the wonderful, practical, efficient, Yanks would have it.
I wonder if Rocket Hat had his hat stolen also?

Don't think of it as losing your knives... think of it as "gaining the ability to not stab people."
Pretty sure "pointed stick" is a reference to macrame needles, not Monty Python. Or maybe it's a reference to both?

Hey! A random comic button DOES sound like something I'd waste some time on.

Sean???
I'd love a random button. Especially if it covered the whole history of the site.
These comics are the highlight of my day
I had completely forgotten about the Judger's otherworldly nimbus!
