Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day Fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today Then one day you find ten years have got behind you No-one told you when to run, you have missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older Shorter of breath, and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that neither come to naught, or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way The time has come, the song is over, I thought I'd something more to say...
Home, home again I like to be here when I can When I come home cold and tired I like to warm my bones besides the fire
Far way across the field, the tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees, to hear the softly spoken magic spell
You're a real piece of work, Scott. How did you manage to make such a philosophical thing as "time" so funny? First panel already kills me, then panel 3 delivers the final blow.
Looks like Missy is a follower of Leibniz, who expounded "the order of successions", or a relation between things that follow one another. So Scott, before you can have that ice cold brewski, you're gonna have to get that lawn mowed.
here's how I save time when I do ab excersizes. Lay on the floor, hands behind head and take a nap. It works great. Also, ignore other people's opinions, that is so exhausting.

-Pink Floyd, Time
And remember, it's later now than it's ever been before.

I've no time for time ....
Thanks MortallyWounded and Matt - I needed that.
Further reminders that I'm one more day nearer the grave and still have never done anything with my life except comment on comic strips on my laptop.
Time well spent. (contented sigh)

ah, those folded arms. it looks like Scott's just one poorly chosen dialogue balloon away from the dreaded fists-on-hips.
I'm finding it funny that someone had the time to post the lyrics to a song about time. I've also got to forward this to my boss.
I was expecting Missy to say, "After you get done doing the things I need you to do." That's how the conversation would have gone at our house, lol.
Great. I have had Scott Adams following me around at work to document my life, and now I find out that Scott Meyer is, too.
Time? This is no time to argue about time; we don't have the time.

Panel 1 = Mind blown.
Sometimes, the greatest timesaver is more work; specificly, the work of searching for a new job in a company that's better managed.
You're a real piece of work, Scott. How did you manage to make such a philosophical thing as "time" so funny?
"So, my first priority is to figure out my first priority?"
"Do that, and the rest will fall into place"
Wise words from the mullet-haired boss there.
