I prefer to use "BGDAAA" in conjunction with the interrobang, especially when filling out TPS reports.
Example:
Boss: Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. Me: BGDAA?!
If your employer were smart he would care about your emotions. He needs to keep those in check so that you never get too frustrated and show up with an AK47 and take him hostage, or get to enthusiastic and ambitious and try to take his job.
Ahhh, another one of these great comics, ever since I figured you had a site, I check back daily for a new one. :) Also, has everyone here followed an extra curriculum on advanced English during college or something? Or is that just me being a little overwhelmed by all the big words because English is not my primary language? Anyway, great work, and I look forward to your next piece of comic art. :)
"BGDAAAA" is generallly set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point, or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong. So when you're happy: "BGDAAAA", or sad: "BGDAAAA", or frightened: "BGDAAAA", or mad: "BGDAAAA", or excited: "BGDAAAA", or glad: "BGDAAAA", "BGDAAAA" starts a sentence right.
I think the interrobang - ?! - and the "bang-interro" - !? - convey two different type of inquiries, depending upon your actual belief and the level of your surprise. I've tried to follow the instructions but can't get my keyboard and software to create the actual ancient punctuation that surfaced and died decades ago.

bgdaa first
bgdaa, this was great!!!
So, is it pronounced "dah" or "bah"? Or "gah"?
Yes.
David- It's pronounced "Bgdaaaa" but one of the "a"s is silent.
You're welcome.

The interrobang comment is great because, if the quote marks are to be believed, Scott punctuated BGDAAAA with a period on the form.

BGDAAAAA! awesome again.
i love that lowercase bgdaaa at the end.
I just love that word, interrobang. So many uses, so little time.
A new word enters the workplace lexicon. Fame and fortune sure to follow!
Use a a preemptive defense. Boss: I'd like you to.. Me: BGDAAA!
Huh, apparently I've been spelling it wrong all this time. I thought it was "bgdaaah."
Phonics has failed me again!
yes, I did follow a course in advanced English. But I had to look up "Interrobang"! Never saw the term before!

We will now debate whether the interrobang is properly written as "?!" or "!?"
I favor the latter alternative.
So am I the only one who pronounced it like a chicken squawk?
I am dying to see a RJ-17 form. :D
Actually, interrobang is written ‽
I favor the "?!" form, as the interrobang is essentially symbolizing the phrase "What" (interrogative) "the f**k" (emphatic).
The "!?" variant seems to be posing the question "Should I be surprised (or outraged) by this?"
Also, it's called an Interro (?) bang (!) so ?! is prolly the likely order, if you don't have knowledge of the nifty keystroke for a real one.
Awesome job, Scott! Every time, ya knock it outta tha park.

The third panel is my favorite.
@Uncle Martin: Schoolhouse Rock FTW!
Allow me to continue...
Interjections "BGDAAAA!"
show excitement "BGDAAAA!"
or emotion "BGDAAAA!"
Hallelujah! "BGDAAAA!"
Hallelujah! "BGDAAAA!"
Hallelujah! "BGDAAAA!"
Hmm, I'm glad Scott is his own spam filter. I don't think there's anyway that would get through otherwise.
So that's how you pronounce it!
Not to forget that when boldface is not available, the exclamatory form is BGDAAAA -AAAA!.
