How to Explain Why You haven't Put Someone in Your Comic Strip

Yes, the copyright date does say "2010." Publication of this comic was delayed because my brother dragged his feet getting the release signed and in the mail. It's almost as if he knew.

Can you put me in a comic? That would be awesome.

Hey, is there a new comic today? I was distracted by the "2010" in the corner.

I don't think I've laughed that hard in a very long time!! Panel three had me laughing so hard my family came to read, too. Hilarious!

Hey, is that the tape mummy in the fourth panel of the comic strip inside the comic strip?
Awesome!

Panel three recursion = Brilliance!

Caught the words "hideous perversion"....got me laughing out loud.

You made your own brother sign a release? That's even colder than the comic.

I love how you can just barely read some of the text of the comic in a comic. Makes me really want to see the whole thing.

Especially love the "hideous perversion" tucked into panel 3!

My tummy hurts now and my eyes are all watery - from the laughing that still won't stop! Can we see the first part of a release?

There's a panel in your panel. You should get that removed. It could be unhealthy

Oh, and panel 4 of the comic in panel 3 has the masking tape mummy. I think i want to seeTHAT comic.

Well, this is easily my favourite one in a long line of awesome entries. Good job, man.

I take it your brother isn't really that bad. Except for the pants issue, that is.

Note from Scott: You're right. I have no beef with my brother, but he asked to be in the comic, and this is what happens to people in my comics.

Does your brother's, corners of his mouth extend beyond his mustache or is it food? Discerning minds want to know.

I wouldn't think a brother would need to read the first paragraph to know one way or the other; so another slam on the brother or just a bonus?

Oh yes before I forget. I love the way people use their pointer; it really looks like their giving you the finger laterally.

P.S. Very funny, made me laugh and smile.

Panel three made me cry (tears of joy)

I can see where you get your taste in facial hair from, Scott :P

I think the 'tape mummy' is supposed to illustrate a patch of unpainted wall 'behind' the comic strip. Yes? If yes, it's a pretty weird visual metaphor for what's going on inside Scott's head.

Note from Scott: No, sorry, but it is just the Masking Tape Mummy. I didn't actually write the comic-within-a-comic, but if I had, the las panel would have been me calling my Brother a weirdo and Missy pointing out that I'm in no position to talk. The mummy was the image i had laying aroud that got that across easiest.

Yes, I over-think these things pretty severely.

Note to self: NEVER sign one of Scott's release forms.

Wait, isn't that a time paradox in panel 4?

March 30, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterTerraHertz

And this is why you shouldn't appear in comics until you've seen their full content. A brief at look at the Rick comics would have warned for this kind of hideous perversion.

Awesome again! Please tell me we will eventually see the full "How to Help a Habitual Pants-Wetter" strip

March 30, 2011 | Unregistered Commenterbrent

Your brother looks a good bit bigger than you. Aren't you afraid he'll pound you? Just wondering.

March 30, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterElyob

Hey Scott, this gives me a great fund raising idea for you! Why don't you auction off the right to be in your comic to one of your readers? You could raise even more by having them pay extra to not be humiliated in the comic!

March 30, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterSolak

Being that this comic is basically instructions, I feel part of each one.
