Yikes!! What the hell did you do to your website??? It was so nice before. And now... Eeks!
Ohhh, I hope the "How to make a repeating background" thing is an inside joke. Its ok for a short while, then becomes... not ok real quick!
The repeating words on the edges are horrible.
Thought I'd chime in that I like the repeating background words. And this comic. Well done.
I like it the new layout a lot more! Looks great.
aha! small monitors are victorious
I love the new website. It's so much easier to navigate, and it's very stylish.
does anybody see the Chronic Pain Ad? "what to do when the pain just won't go away" Comedy
This is my favorite. My friend's cat is dying... I'm having so much trouble not sending this to her!
Definitely a roflmao moment :-)
The ROFG thing is probably my favorite thing ever in any of the BI comics.... I actually just looked at all them through my entire English class today!
it amazes me, speaking of english classes, that we have to take english classes in america to learn to speak our own language, and then after 12 years of learning it, most of us still cannot speak it properly.
Dude . . no need to alarm anyone . . .but that cat is staring at me!
I wish my cat were here...I also wish I knew someone who has a cat...
more strips with cats!
Properly. There's a proper way to talk? And here I was thinking that it was for communicating with other people.
Oh, you mean that arbitrary system made up by some self-styled intellectuals hundreds of years ago! Right, that's important then. Let's make sure we all follow their vision.
Is it just me, or is this the second time I'm seeing this comic??? I was so sure it was published a lot earlier....
Of course, Fred. You're right! We should all use our own individual languages, and if no one understands us, it's the fault of them for being so narrow-minded that they cannot understand because they're fixated on things like "rules" and "consistency."
It amazes me that people think that literally the only use of language is conveying extremely simplistic concepts, and nothing more.If that is so, then why are books as long as they are? Why do we use many words to convey even simple things?
This is how every conversation should look:
You: Pizza Hut.
You: Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro.
You: My car?
You, upon reading a book: Book good.
You: Themes. Good writing. Amusing.
Me: I read.
Except that would be awful and boring and lacking utterly in nuance.
If I used the word "nuance" in real life, someone would probably ask why I use such obscure words all the time, and I would respond by asking, "Do you know another word that means "nuance"?"
