This comic perfectly describes how every cat I've ever known and I have interacted. I still talk to them like they're human, because a good cat is superior to most humans by so far it's not even funny.

sadly, this is the same technique i use to discipline my toddler. really wish my husband had said yes to getting a cat instead of a baby.

I have three cats that do this, and one of them wants to be pet but is reluctant to let me pet him. I guess being born and spending a month in the basement does that to you.

I like the implication that Scott is the pet and the cat is modifying his behavior.

Wow, I just got that.

And yes, my cats have trained me very well.

The first panel alone was enough to make me laugh out loud because that's exactly how I am with my cat in the morning. The rest of the comic is the rest of the day...every day... Cats always win...

I have watched this scene play out between my boyfriend and his cat a dozen times...this cat even kinda looks like his. I laughed so hard I feel out of my chair
