Although awsome is a rare spelling of awesome and does not show up in most dictionaries, some dictionaries do include it. Whether this awsome is a real word or just a misspelling is another question. The dictionary this comment box uses doesn't like it :P
I like the fact that you've made a conscious decision with more recent comics to keep things SFW / family-friendly / non-partisan, makes a contrast to the majority of available humour (not that I don't find NSFW entertaining too!) and I'm sure provides plenty of challenges in looking for the non-obvious punchlines, but... this comic massively rules with awsomeness!
