People I barely know come up and ask me how to spell things. They can just tell I'd know.
I don't tell them my memory is starting to fail....

First you get the extra work, then you get the extra money. That's how it works. You don't get paid first.

I'm right, aren't I?

Oh God, I hope I'm right.

I loved panel 2. Subtle joke, totally worth it.

Ahhhhhhhhh..... 2013!!!!!!

Temporal VORTEX.....

A few years back I was asked to QA/QC a report... and the letter... then the email being sent with all of it... After that I got saddled with QA/QC-ing everything coming out of my bosses office... I quit a few months later.

OK so its the new year, and time for an important question... WHO is the guy in the BI logo and why isnt he in the comics?

Note from Scott: He was one of my first attempts to draw someone other than myself. He appears in only one comic, which is also one of my first comics.

First panel, scissors cuts paper, co-worker wins. Last panel, rock busts scissors, Meyer wins. Well done.

@Mr E,
Yeah, ditto... I was working as a project manager, and the QA people were worthless. They didn't report to me, so I couldn't fire them. After producing test cases, checklists, reports and creating the entire QA process for the department, they made me manager of QA for "having passion for it." It was meant as a reward, but it felt like a fist in my face... I already didn't want to be PM, because I am a coder. And I couldn't imagine a worse job than QA. I ended up quitting a few months later.
