It is about time that we had a public conversation about the dangers of shunning all activity. However, that would get everyone all agitated and probably hurt some people's feelings. So it is probably safer if we just never have that public conversation.

Angry Rick looks funnier, but calm Rick in panel 3 closes with the funniest line.

Panel three FTW!

Just in case nobody else is going to cite this quote in reference to Panel 3 ...

"I laugh in the face of danger. Then I hide until it goes away."
-Xander Harris (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

That said, I love Ric's formulation of the sentiment, and Panel 4 is jam-packed with win.

Oh crap, I've turned into Rick!

Call him "Carlos Safety"

I have to remind everyone the last time the guys threw caution to the wind:

Obviously, we have reached that point in the dog days of August where we are all craving release from the mundane and are willing to stretch our boundaries. This will do nicely for the moment. We don't want to get too carried away. Well done Meyer.

So, heaping praise on disregarding the near universal consensus of all spiritual traditions that one should cultivate harmony and serenity is a thing to be celebrated now?

Just so there is no confusion, heart disease is a diet related disease.

Yes... Yes he does. He runs from everything. NTTAWWT...

This was hilarious. I think it's Rick's facial expressions that do it.
One day, I too hope to live dangerously safe. You know, once I've prepared, got the right skills and equipment, and only if I think I'm capable of handling it.

Thanks for The Doors reference in panel 4, whether intentional or not.

So, was the panel 3 pose from the Monopoly game (referenced above by The Chosen One) ever released without all the words?

Has anybody else gained the shameful habit of skipping over the actual instructions in these comics and only reading, or at least only absorbing, the dialogue?

YOLO - You only live once, so don't take any chances that might get you killed, or injured, or overly distraught.

The Lonely Island wrote a theme song for Rick:

It's a good thing I'm not like Rick at all. Today I put on a t-shirt without checking the label first to see if I was putting it on backwards, because that's just the kind of guy I am.

Made me laugh, but surreal.

I think I may be she-Rick...
