As always, thanks for using my Amazon Affiliate links (US, UK, Canada).
If this is a "prequel", shouldn't Knifeketeer's blades lack the boxing gloves?
I see it's not just Omnipresent man who has disdain for Mr Everywhere. That's what teammates are for I guess, to back you up when you have disdain for others. And help you fight crime, I suppose.
I'm plastic, man.
Omnipresent Man must have an origin story that starts in adulthood, since he didn't meet everyone in the world as an infant.
What gave him his powers? My theory is he was bitten by a rabid radioactive nun....
Great use of Omnipresent Man in second panel! Great job Scott!
Shades of Frank Drebin, eh?
"I stab crime" is a pretty awesome tagline.
A t-shirt of Rocket Hat with the caption "No Introduction Needed" would be cool.
I love the boxing glove knife.
I love any comic with the Knifeketeer. I'd love to see him do battle with the Choker.
This is truly a necessary Instuction, considering how often prequels are poorly done. Love the whole thing.
Dear Scott.Thank you.Panels 2-4 are gold.
I'm guessing everyone is on omnipresent man's team all the time always. In this universe, when concluding your "business" and wipe...where is omnipresent man?
Yes! :D The missus is a superhero now too? Or did she become a supervillain.
The Origin still remains clouded in mystery.
I see Rocket Hat is anticipating his "capture" by the Emperor of the Moon... and his silence is now explained. It would, after all, ruin the cape opera vibe to have him shouting (a la MST3K) "No, no, you're *ruining* it for me!"
Hang on... if Omnipresent Man is omnipresent, why isn't he in the last panel... maaaan?
Does Rocket Hat always look like he's being handcuffed?
I think the Moon Emperor has had more of an effect than he expected...
Panel 1 is reminding of "How to Face your Doppleganger."
I love how even The Knifeketeer is more accepted than Mr Everywhere.
"The missus is a superhero now too?"-AnonymousIt is not her first time. http://basicinstructions.net/basic-instructions/2011/7/12/how-to-create-a-plausable-superhero-origin-story-rerun.htmlhttp://basicinstructions.net/basic-instructions/2011/7/8/how-to-assemble-a-mighty-team-of-superheroes-rerun.html
Ha! Your superheros are laughable! I could defeat them all!
Except the Judger. She fills me with dread.
Does the symbol on Omnipresent Man's shirt disappear when he is in a Gauss box? Which, of course, he is right now, man.
It's not a mystery how Omnipresent Man got his powers; he won them in a game of contract bridge!
@ArekExcelsior, I though immediately of Frank Drebin too!
I have a dream that one day, The Legion of Super Heroes and the Knifeketeer will get their own (quasi-)animated show on Adult Swim...
panel 2 reminds me of the police squad joke "who are you and how did you get in here?""im a locksmith, and, im a locksmith."never gets old XD
I'm so confused. Rick is interviewing The Knifeketeer who looks like Rick and Ominpresent Man and Rocket Hat who both look like Scott.
Not only has this origin story not cleared up the origin it has further confused the secret identity of the heroes!
But where does Omnipresent man go when he isn't around?! >:O
He is around, he's just behind you.
Please let there be a Rocket Hat T-shirt.
@Robert, he won his powers in a game of contract bridge
