If he's good at failing, then he succeeds at failing, but if he succeeds at failing then he fails to fail at failing. So he succeeds at failing to fail at failing, which means he fails at failing to fail at failing to fail! *headsplosion*
Almost saw an earring in panel 1. Checked panel 2 for the earring, but it was the other ear. And no earring. Only some goo dripping out. Referenced panels 3 & 4 only to discover is was all jawline. Good news: Scott does not need to get his ears checked. Bad news: Time for a call to the optometrist for me!
I recognized what "glump glump glump" was (I too am attuned to react to it at a moment's notice), but the "Is that dubstep?" -- "Ew! No!" got me belly-laughing hard.
Scott, the daily calendar (purchased through your Amazon Affiliate link) is serving me well, especially on the days when you don't have a new comic. Salacious Crumb!
Is that dubstep?! My best laugh in days! I certainly will use that against my teen kids in coming weeks, just as soon as the opportunity arises. Maybe before.

Yay recursion!
I love how in the last panel Rick looks blithely unaware of the phone conversation.

Ah, the mythical Ourickoros!

I think the shark-like grin on Scott's face would let Rick know what he's talking about.
"He's like a snake trying to eat its own tail."
That is my new favorite quote!
BI oldtimers like me alredy know how the ringtone idea come up...

Most awesome ringtone ever.
In order to understand recursion, you must first understand recursion.
The dubstep=wretching cat comparison has tickled me in all the right places :-D
Dubstep? What is dubstep?
Google......Youtube.....Sigh, ignorance was bliss.
Glad I don't have kids, they would be bringing home the flu and dubstep.
I have no (none!) idea what this comic is about ... "post holi-day phonecall" - never heard of it.
I thought we all agreed "Yump Yump Yump" is the motto of cat-throw-up?
I almost died laughing after reading panels number 3 and 4.
"I didn't call you!"
"So you admit it!"
was my favorite, second only to "like a snake, failing to eat its own tail"
Do vomiting cats have bass drops?
Love the update from the second panel of this one: http://basicinstructions.net/basic-instructions/2008/4/10/how-to-customize-your-cell-phone.html
I love how Rick is waiting politely for Scott to finish the phone call, apparently unaware of the topic of discussion.
I'm pretty sure dubstep and cat barf are the same thing. *just saying*
