"1st" says the third poster. Trust me, say "one hundred thousandth" and you'll be more likely to 'win.' ************** Another Panel One winner, by the way! I didn't even get to the rest of the strip yet, I laughed so hard at that. I'm off now to finish...
Fresh in its mockery of clip shows. And, yet, it IS a rehashing of old material, in the sense that you've played the "Rick is bad at everything" joke many times before. It's a good thing that joke doesn't get old.
Maybe Scott let Veronica's "first" through at third to show the futility in posting "first" in the subtle hope of stopping people from posting that inane stuff.
Simon, Veronica gets to learn a valuable lesson. Well, has the opportunity... what she does with it is up to her.

False premise. There never can be an entertaining clip show.
I submit to you the short-lived Clerks cartoon, where the second episode was a clip show that recalled the first, and earlier parts of the second, episodes. (Then ABC went and screwed up the joke by airing them out of order.)
The only show that mastered the "clip show" format was Xena. Those clip shows were awesome, and The Xena Scrolls from season two remains a fan favorite.
Wow. I had forgotten to update my basic instruction URL, so when I hit 'next instructions', this one came up. At first I thought you had made a clip show using your clip show comic.

I would buy the local bird cage liner if you were published in it.
They key to an entertaining strip show...
1st

You got the clip-show episode wrong...it's supposed to be much lamer.

(or comic, to be honest, although the first panel was nice)
I'm actually watching The Simpsons right now :P
Great strip - as always.
I'm confused though, as why Veronicka felt the need to type '1st' and nothing else.
Shouldn't comment moderation filter this sort of thing out?

Substitute "twelve" for "five" in the first panel.
Another winner of a strip.

Ditto what Norbizness said. Maybe make it 15 or so.
I love how delighted he looks in Panel 2.

You should have made this about Rick trying and failing to put together a clip show.
What a great read, definitely had me laughing and, today being the anniversary of my birth, I consider it a delightful gift.
So, thanks Scott!

Veronicka's comment is kind of like a rehashing of past posts...
Stargate is also a master of "clips shows", but only in the sense of doing it a lot and boring people off like hell.
Community did the clip show right, using clips from episodes that were never even made.
