As much as I love all the superheros and supervillians in this comic, the knifeketeer (aka "the human joke") is the one that brings me to tears with laughter. Especially when I see him standing there with that ridiculous "fist-knife". This is one of my personal favorites.
Grumble grumble "Green arrow" grumble grumble "never liked DC"....grumble grumble "took me a while to get the joke" - even so, knifeketeer is awesome...having read up now (thank you wikipedia) I see the Green Arrow also had all sorts of other trick arrows - I reckon if knifeketeer was anyone other than Rick he could be pretty damn cool.
plus, whats wrong with heroes that have knives/sharp objects? guns are far more instantly deadly than knives and there are plenty of superheroes with guns and laser cannons that use them on villains.

this on made me laugh and then i got to the punch line, this strip gets funnier with re-reads.
I didn't notice the knife in the back until now. Superb.
The knife hat is what sells it for me.

Some things do get better with age.
I love the boxing glove knife.
I love it when your comic makes me Laugh Out Loud. Thanks!
"Fist Knife" sounds dirty. I'm not sure why.
@ "Me"...heh... "Punchline"

My favorites with the Knifeketeer are later when he gets flak from the other superheroes. Still, he's better than Aquaman.
I think you could rerun Knifeketeer strips forever, in a loop, and they'd be as funny as the first time I read them. Love it.
Hope you're feeling better...
"I threatened to punch the mugger with my fist-knife and he stopped resisting."
FIST-KNIFE.
That's what got me on this comic. This is one of those things where I have to find a way to fit that word into a conversation. Somehow.
