I haven't been on this site in forever, and I log on THE MINUTE a new comic (well, rerun) gets posted.
The Grace of Scott must be upon me.
omnipresent-man comics are always the funniest
Are you sure this is a rerun? I could swear I've read every comic and I honestly don't remember this one.
It's still funny either way, though.
Wait, isn't it supposed to be that our brains only allow us to see Omnipresent Man in one place at a time, even though he is everywhere, to save our sanity? (How to Explain a Fictional Technology or Superpower) Or did I just misunderstand that line?
I am totally going to be spoiled getting another comic to read every single day. I can't wait till your popular enough that you're forced to spend every waking moment creating a brand new comic for my enjoyment every single day.
I'd like to see more of that fez guy. Fezzes are cool!
I am soooo not used to seeing comics change everyday! I used track my Monday, Wednesday, Friday's from knowing when a new strip was posted. Something like this..."I know it is M, W or F, time to look at basicinstructions.net.
These re-runs are getting the best of me. I get updates via RSS, and the re-runs show up in my RSS even though I'm not interested in seeing them... again. (This one was run just in February. Five months is not a long enough time for a rerun, IMO.)
I appreciate that you're not writing new comics right now, but could you not RSS the re-runs?
ROFL one of my favourite Superhero comics =D
@Will: It doesn't say anywhere that this is a rerun. This is a new one.
@Scott: This has to be my favorite superhero post ever! "You're not just everywhere. You're everywhere with me". I lost it at that line. Very funny.
What I want to know is what happens when these guys are in a house of mirrors, or one of those lifts with mirrors on all the walls (they're there right now, you know)
Man, I just spent precious minutes of my life looking up all the mapping websites to see where Mr. Everywhere's logo comes from.
Can I be seeing that right, is he wearing a speedo over a jumpsuit?
@Emilio under 'recent instructions' the most recent comic is 'How to Introduce a "New" Superhero (rerun.) This is a rerun.
I love the superhero series. I don't care how old or new they are; to see the progression of all the characters is helpful. Once I saw The Knifekateer, I had to try and go and find them all.
BTW, didn't I see The Knifekateer at the illegal underground Chinese rabbit fights?
@Emilio: It does indeed say that this is a rerun, seeing as how it is one. From February, as stated above. Or you could have done a 5-second search like I did to verify that.
@Tim: If you had read any of the posts that Mr. Meyer had written on the topic, you would know that he is working on a backlog. That is to say, he is making new comics for the times when (god forbid) he is sick or not feeling well enough to make one. And he is now locked into re-running all the superhero ones in a row due to the cohesion that provides, which I'm enjoying quite a bit.
All that's aside from the fact there's one each day, which is awesome. I've read a lot of the archive, but haven't been able to track down all the superhero ones in any other way. So thanks, Scott, keep doing what you do. Omnipresent man will always be the better of the "Everywhere else" heroes to me.
Emilio: Check the title bar.
I still think you missed a golden naming opportunity: Mister Ubiquitous has such a great ring to it!
I don't remember this one either, and it says rerun in the page title and the list of recent instructions on the right.
I want to know what's with the SCHWING pose in the first panel???
