How to Handle Exposition (rerun)

Now you begin to see why I decided to post the Superhero comics daily. I can't believe how may of these things I've done! Still more to go, too. I'm putting the extra time off toward building up a cushion, which is needed, believe me.
In other news, I've started taking orders again for the custom avatars. If you'll just go to my store page and scroll down beneath the books, you'll see all the details.

FIRST (rerun)
but really, whats w/ all the reruns?
Scott, loving the reruns, especially Knifeketeer and the Judger, no scrub that, especially all the characters, took a minute to get Macramayhem, respect! Panel 2 superb. Hope the throat is OK now, Missy's blog seems to think so.
You know, Halloween isn't that far off... I daresay I'll go as Rocket Hat this year.
Developing a nice movie plot eh?
But seriously, the little knife kid has some issues. Did Omnipresent Man see anything ?
"but really, whats w/ all the reruns?"
It's been explained. The reruns reminds me why I liked the books. It's nice to read the comics page by page and I found having them on paper made the comic "pop" more for me.
Read more - he's getting/got something cut out and he's recovering.
I, for one, welcome our superhero reruns.
"Martial crafts" -- I totally missed that first time around. Reading at work is not so conducive to leisurely perusal...
So now the name "MacraMayhem" suddenly makes sense. Scott, you really wring all the chuckles out of each panel.
Also, did you ever get around to uploading any of your standup comedy videos anyplace? You mentioned that possiblity some time back... Would be interested to know what voice belongs to these characters.
I could seriously consider getting a custom avatar, except that I think you've already done it for me. After all, I'm you.

Actually, several of your loyal readers seem to be you.
I love how the Human Joke's--er, Knifeketeer's--sidekick is both more effectual than himself and also a villain.
I've always assumed that reruns are his way of taking a break. And in this case... look, what do you know, he explains it right beneath the comic:
"I'm putting the extra time off toward building up a cushion, which is needed, believe me."
That question was answered Before the Reruns. Research.
I bet omnipresent man will know who didi it
MacraMayhem: Best super-villian name EVER.
I never noticed this before, but is that a knife sticking directly into the Knifeketeer's back?
The mystery lives on... mysteriously...
@monkyyy: The reruns were intentionally planned and much anticipated by a large portion of the viewing audience. The comic god we call Scott had surgery recently and wanted a way to keep the comics coming, so he asked if the fans would be interested in seeing all of the super hero comics reprinted in order, and the answer was a resounding yes. I'm sure he's mostly recuperated by now, but we're all still looking forward to these and it has the double bonus of giving him a chance to work ahead - and that can only mean higher-quality stuff since he won't be rushed for some time to come. So, it's all good!!!
6/19 below the comic Scott wrote:
"In a couple of weeks I will be having my tonsils removed. Estimates of the quality of the pain I'll be in afterward seem to be ranging between "bad" and “horrendous." As such, I'll be taking a little time (at least a week, likely two" from the comic. I'm considering re-running all of the superhero comics in order during that time."
monkyyy, there's a little description under the comic. Read that. Also, go back and read the previous ones. I'm sure Scott doesn't want to answer the same questions each time.
Scott had a bruised coccyx from sitting around thinking up brilliant instructions for the rest of us, so he needed surgery.
While he's recovering from surgery-related morphine addiction he's giving us all of the superhero comics as reruns. And we love him for it.
Or something to that effect, I went back looking for the original post where he explained it to us, but I couldn't find it.
@monkyyy Scott is broken. These comics will run until he is fixed.
@monkyyy: Really?
Scott's recently underwent a tonsillectomy and is still recovering, so he's rerunning all of his superhero strips. I imagine there will probably be several comments approved before mine saying the same thing.
I hadn't noticed that Knifeketeer is ambidextrous, and in fact has 2 sets of knives on his belt, and now I really want a boxing glove on an handle - the potential use of that is unlimited!
@monlyyy: Scott's been sick. But of course if you were a regular you'd know.
@Knifeketeer: some mysteries are better left unsolved.
I laughed at MacraMayhem, then sobered up when I saw Stabby's expression -- scary!
Really? You don't know about the reruns? Duh, of course not, or you wouldn't have asked. Just go back to the several strips before the reruns started, read the comments from Scott (and all of our responses, if you like), and all will be explained.
Or, more simply in one word: tonsillectomy.
