How to Ask for Help
Just a reminder, my third book, “The Curse of the Masking-Tape Mummy” officially comes out in March, but my publisher will have copies available for delivery before Christmas. You can pre-order it now! If you do, you’ll be entered into a contest, the prize of which is to appear in a Basic Instructions comic, probably insulting Rick (Note: contest not open to Rick).
I’m just ridiculously proud of this book. It’s bigger than the first two (150 pages) and has a color section containing special, original content that defies description.

Can I just say how much I love the fact that Rocket Hat slowly migrates out of frame every time he makes an appearance in BI? The subtlety of Bond, with the energy yield of Slim PIckens. Classic!

There's a "you" which I believe should have been "they" in panel 3.
The preorder sounds sweet, but ordering form overseas will not only cost me import duty, the postal service also tacks on a very hefty fee (~$25), so I'll wait until it's available in the EU. On the brighter side, the desk calendar has just shipped.
Love the way Rocket Hat slides out the frame.
Perhaps panel 2 should have ended with "Them's the breaks!"?
Moon Goon #1 is a model bureaucrat. He gives the same feeble effort day in and day out.
Does anybody else read the moon emperor's lines with the voice of the Monarch? Or is that just me?
It's always a good thing to be consistent. That's not to be confused with being regular, which is also important, but... the details are unimportant!

...Huh. I have noticed that he doesn't talk or move, but I just now realized something. You've only ever drawn Rocket Hat one time, haven't you? That single, solitary position is the only one in which he's ever seen.

HELLOOOOOOOO! Is anybody out there? The lack of comments has me concerned, since this is a great strip and the comments often add to the entertainment. Must just be moderator delays.
