How to Get Maximum Enjoyment Out of an Internet Meme

What am I talking about? Well, first I'm talking about this, then I briefly mention this.
And yes, I do walk around singing both of these songs from time to time. My wife's a lucky, lucky woman.
By the way, have you checked out the Basic Instructions free Android app yet?

This strip doesn't appear on(in?) your rss feed.
Good one, but for the two can play that game at the end I think you should have gone with digging up Tubby Marble and Gordo DeChessbishop. :)
Ahh meme's got to love them. In class we had a circuit that ran off 9.01KW and I screamed "The power level is over 9000!" no one got it.
One cannot help but wonder if it will have the staying power of other memes. I mean yes, it is pretty funny, but we're no strangers to love. You know the rules, and so do I. A full committment's what I'm thinking of. You wouldn't get this from any other guy.
...actually, you'd get it from pretty much every guy who's ever been on the internet. I guess that's my point though.
How have I missed singing Russian guy up until now? I fail teh interwebz.
That dancing Indian kid? He's not actually a kid!!!
The thing that gets me the most about this are the poses chosen. Yiyiyiyi with jazz hands. And that is the perfect face to be singing Chocolate Rain. Also, I laughed a lot at the duet in panel 3 with CreepySmileRick.
Hahahaha, my boyfriend and I have done exactly this on both the songs you mention. <3 Love your strips, they are always very accurate AND awesome.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
I know how a meme can wear on a person.
Weirdly, if you haven't heard either clip (not having access to the requisite video blog site at work), in the fourth panel I imagine Missy laughing the Imperial March from Star Wars; oh go on you know the one, Da, duh, dada, duh. I think it's played whenever imperial forces are involved.
Loving Rick's Jowls and always good to see the Jazz Hands in action.
Any chance of some more comics on inventions? I almost have enough for a whole presentaion based around BI comics. So thanks for that.
Brilliant, and now trolololo will be stuck in my head until I force it out with the theme to Love Boat.
You're welcome.

MUSHROOM MUSHROOM!
Ah, Scott, hitting on two of the three legs upon which a solid Stool of Marriage is built: revenge and annoying the partner to the point of inciting further annoyance, but never crossing into axe-murdering territory. (The third leg, of course, is as Homer Simpson put it: "a solid foundation of routine.")
Before I saw this strip, I had the Pennsylvania Polka stuck in my head. Then I followed the link to the Russian song. I think I was better off with the polka.
Oddly enough, I opened both of those videos at the same time... and the two songs sounded surprisingly good melded together. Or maybe I'm crazy. :)
trolololo was displaced by Christoph Waltz' "Der Humpink" in my circle of friends...but with the same result.
try mimicking Slingblade to your wife: "mmmmmmhhgh, I'd like some biscuits and mustard, mmmmmhhhhghh. Alright then, mmmmggghh." you'll win that game in no time.

Some memes don't wear at all. I bookmarked the Fat Kid Singing the Numa Numa Song, and still click on it from time to time. That one never gets old.
Maya ha, Maya HEEEEE!!!! {/jazzhands}
Chocolate Rain always wins!
I guess I live in my own little part of the Internet where I seldom hear of these memes. I did see one previous reference to the trololololo video, though. Funny stuff, with the singer's freshly embalmed looking face and its look of smug self appreciation, and the jerky, robotic movements. It's hard to say if it was originally supposed to be funny, but I'm guessing yes. Never heard of the "Chocolate Rain" one, but Wikipedia tells me it's been well known since 2007. Gosh.
Funny comic, though.
You know Scott, I have often wondered what a meme is. Now I have been enlightened. I thought I was going to have to ax Capt Pike.
Trololololololo! dammit, everytime I forget about it...
I hate to say it but Duckman has a point. I'm already subscribed to Basic Instructions, Goats and XKCD on my Droid.
I recently discovered Epic Beard Man - this was helped by the fact that I actually live in Oakland CA, where the (in)famous bus fight occurred. Heck, I've _been at_ the corner seen in the last minutes of the video, and there's a local store that carried Amber Lamps shirts for a hot minute.
Of course, Encyclopeida Dramatica is your go-to guide for all things Internet meme-related.
Seems nobody mentioned the legendary "Jožin z bažin" ???

yes, it seems you have been following me around for the past month and a half or so. i really like your work.
I must run in different meme circles, cause I've never heard either of these.
Android app.!
A must have.
Dracula had no problem with sunlight. He even unloaded a huge, heavy coffin in the daytie.
Trololo cat is pretty amazing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIR3XFuY4Qs
They sound pretty cool when played layered.
Have you heard the re-mix ? Effin hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ78IlJs5JQ
oh my god this describes me and my husband EXACTLY. Right down to throwing 'chocolate rain' in there just to annoy the other person.
positivle bril :)
Reminds me of annoying my wife with the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" song. Which I still do from time to time, just to keep her on her toes. The "Banana Phone" one works pretty well too...
Just a head's up, your "trololo" link is broken Scot. Video removed sadly :(
I loled super hard at the mixture of his face and an all-caps CHOCOLATE RAIN in panel 4. Good freakin stuff.
I USED TO ENJOY MEMES LIKE YOU, BUT THEN I TOOK AN ARROW TO THE KNEE
