That was just as awesome the second time around.

it made people laugh in my office...well, A PERSON, but hey, at least now he'll be ready for the inevitable invasion of the moon-men, just like me.

It's still just as funny as last time :)

How I miss "old rick" and his more sinister ambitions. New Rick collects knives.

You should insert "new rick" in this and see how it looks, though. Just as an experiment.

Oh, Scott. Oh, Scott, Scott, Scott. In my first glimpse of the title I had wild hopes that this was a sequel strip. Now that my dream of more Moon-Men action has been cruelly crushed, I feel I can't give this strip the fair reading it deserves.

Sigh. I am so let down. :(

August 26, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa wait a minit... isn't the Magnificent Robe actually LONGER in this *quote* rerun? I am quite certain you tweaked this episode of the Moon Men Invasion! which, technically, makes it not so much a rerun as... a very similar retelling!

YAY, Scott! (altho, I think the Magnificent Robe is much funnier above the knees)

Wasn't he holding on to the rim of his helmet?

Anyway better good reruns then no comics at all. Still love the work you put into it!

somehow I think rocket-hat is going to have some mighty singed ears... but it will be worth it!

August 27, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterThisIsWhoIAm

If you don't look too carefully at the first frame, it doesn't look like Scott sitting in a chair... it looks like Scott from behind wearing a Star Fleet uniform! (Next Gen.)

Man, "M" has got some weird pants going on. REALLY weird. Like, what, he got tired of dropping cheez popcorn and decided, hey, if I had huge funnel pants, it'd all collect in my abdomen for a weekly snack.

Yes, BI Fan, good catch! The Magnificent Robe *was* much shorter. See here:

August 27, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterI am Tubby, yes.

Don't think your new tee shirts sites have been set up properly.

The details remain unimportant!

Simon, that's exactly what I thought! Except I thought it was Picard and got very confused for a moment.

Scott, keep up the good work. It's so rare to find a web comic that makes me literally laugh out loud the way that yours does on a regular basis.

uhhhh... 3rd panel - is it just me or does someone appear to have his hands down his trousers ?

August 28, 2009 | Unregistered Commentermhbarber

I have been designing my very rocket hat. It is almost ready for the first test flight. I had a hard time finding a quality chinstrap that could not be cut so easily. I ended up using one made for a football helmet. I think I'm gonna have a problem with the amount of gravity here on the Earth though.

Best. Comic. Ever.

Come on man continue the story!

August 28, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterisiah

in handcuffs, down the trousers, it's all the same in the long run, eh? so scott's a fetishist, so what? let the man be...

August 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJiggly McSickfingers

do you have your "the details are not important" tshirt to go along with it?

August 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJiggly McSickfingers

So, where can I get my own rocket-propelled hat? Cars are so over.

August 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAdam

You should make a collection of moon-man comics. it would be Excellent.

the moon mans face makes me think of his voice like king cobra from gi joe

I love the comic, but I'm not such a big fan of repeats. Personally I'd rather you just put up a note saying "Nothing this time, just recovering from my brain transplant." or whatever. Repeats just make me vaguely disappointed. Even excellent ones like this.

Maybe it's because I'm going through the archives, it might be different if I was getting them weekly or however often you put them out.

It's not going to stop me reading you or anything. Just thought I'd say.
