It took Rick that long to realize he shouldn't tell you his problems?

And in the end the love you make is equal to the love you take .... hmmmm .... sounds better with George Martin production values in the background.

I always like to go with "...you know that i would be untrue, you know that i would be a liar, if i was to say to you i didn't set your house on fire...if you love somebody why not set them on fire?" Does anyone wonder about the historical context or the author's intent on that one?

You know, I just can't get no satisfaction out of this strip. I've tried, and I've tried, and I've tried and I've tried.

His main problem is that he is wearing shorts that are too short.

seems to me like that's a bonus for Scott! now if only he could wring all of the meaning out of an old saying for his boss, the Mullet Man...

oh, and Jiggly? here's a tune for you: "Do you know the Mullet Man, the Mullet Man, the Mullet Man?"

If the Stones always got what they want, then why can't they get no satisfaction. And how come everything isn't painted black?

Not personally, no...but I think he used to hang around the boys locker room when I was in high school...it was traumatic.

In answer to the painted black part Greg...gay pride parades? Just a thought.

It may or may not be the case that you can't always get what you want, but it is definitely the case that all the cops in the donut shop say "way-o way-o".
Go figure.

Look, I understand too little too late. I know there are you things you say or do that you can never take back. But what would you be if you didn't even try? You have to try. So after a lot of thought, I'd like to reconsider. Please......... make it a.... CHEESE burger.

Scott should have added "Then my work is done" in the final panel.

Baldies last comment in frame four should be "mission accomplished" - adds another level of humor.
