Your comment about shaving your head reminded me of when I shaved my mustache for the first time (had it for 30 years). For the first few weeks my upper lip always felt like it was wet. I eventually figured out that it was because my lip was cooler and the only time that every happened with the mustache was when it was wet and the evaporation cooled my lip.
