How to Sound Like a Miserable Old Crank

Hey, just a reminder that any holiday gifts purchased through my Amazon Affiliate links (USUKCanada) would, in theory, throw a little money my way without costing you a dime extra! Just Sayin'.

So, the obvious question: is Hitman actually Scott's favorite game or was that just said for the sake of the joke?

Note from Scott: I wouldn't say it's my favorite these days, what with Portal existing, but I have played every Hitman game.

Now I want to play a Knifeketeer game. Preferably as a platformer.

And now we know why we never completely see the back of Scott's head. Now I wonder if he is sporting a barcode or a QDR code.

"Finish him."

(A line from a game which politicians picked up and said "Is this creepy or what?", and, you know, it is. But I think in this context it's 'cute.)

"Like a slot machine that costs time and pays out in self esteem."
I will have to make use of this somehow today.

Wait is that a Bad Dudes Vs. DragonNinja reference?

Best late 80's arcade reference ever.

Did the BBC's "Grumpy Old Men" TV series (not to be confused with the 1993 film) ever make it to the USA?

Note from Scott: I don't think so.

Call me a crank then, because I do not understand my wife's obsession with that stupid Candy Crush game. I use the internet for learning and conversing. That is, when I can get some time on our computer.
She will sit there for hours, wasting time, earning fake money. Compared to that, pulling the handle on a real slot machine seems like a real job. At least it sometimes pays out in real money.

@Lummox, if you have a PC, you can play SWTOR for free. The Imperial Agent, with the advanced class "Operative," is a Knifeketeer par excellence.

And with reference to Candy Crush Saga, I am not addicted. I can quit level 147 any time I like.

Eh, I much more like the idea of playing as the actual Knifeketeer, facing the Knifeketeer's enemies. Maybe also dealing with the ridicule of the other heroes.

I love Candy Crush!

I always felt like if there were a Basic Instructions game, this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13YlEPwOfmk would be an amazing way to implement omnipresent man.
