Another good laugh. Thanks Scot !
Oh dear.... Oh my. I foresee an an ugly, hilarious scene for a couple of my guys in the morning, The remark about absorbing coffee is too true!
Scott, you sir, are a freakin' genius!
I'm quite good at absorbing coffee at work. Doesn't actually contribute to staying awake on the job, but it gives you that feeling of being settled in at your station to do some work, without actually committing you to accomplishing anything in particular.
This is one of the best yet. A masterpiece. Every quarter was brilliant. Congratulations!
"I'm not saying I'm not doing my best work, only that I am being forced to devote far to much time and energy to handling my personal finances. If you paid more, I could turn that energy to helping the company."
There's a kind of sick perfection in how dependably the things you say to Mullet Boss never actually enter his brain.
Always good for a laugh. I think I'm going to need some more coffee after this.
The paradox of the complaining boss
I disagree with your premise that you owe it to people who listen to you to listen to their opinions about your problem. I would say that you only owe them the right to tell you their problems. Telling someone about your problems is not the same as asking for their opinion.
Mr. Meyer...pure genius yet again. Dare I say "Super Genius"? As for @Hugin: I'll be using your reasoning & verbiage in the very near future! Thanks to both for a true lol.
Comic-Scott logic wins again! ;D
I know this situation. My employees also are only good at drinking tea and coffee. I such cases, there is no appropriate solutions.
Now they're going to be stuck in a logic loop
Apropos of nothing: I -SO- want a random button on this site so I can kill time just jumping from comic to comic while waiting for stuff.
