Is Scott's "pod bay door" open, or is it *cringe* the copyright date???

Rick needs to adopt a better strategy for improving his life - namely, "WWSD?" - What Would Scott Do?
Of course, he shouldn't treat himself the way Scott treats Rick, but other than that it should work pretty well!
Did Scott put on a watch just for the third panel? Does he carry it around in his pocket or something?
