surely it's the cartoon actor that plays Rocket Hat, who is speaking out of character...
OH MY GOD. Rocket-hat spoke! Words came out of his mouth! He verbally sounded his thoughts! WHOA!
See now.... I have given this a helluva lot of thought over the weekend, and NOW I am convinced it ISN'T THE REAL ROCKET HAT!!! It is an evil imposter who unknowingly thought a humorous comeback would be in keeping with the REAL ROCKET HAT's character. Yet this fake, villainous anti-Rocket Hat now has been discovered by the legions of us who know the true Rocket Hat!
What has happened to the real Rocket Hat? Is he again captured by some foe? And if he has been captured long enough to have an evil anti-twin.... perhaps this foe is a NEW one that is wiser and stronger than the Moon People?
Could this be the end of the real Rocket Hat?!?! Could this be the end of the space/time continuum? We will just have to wait and see, folks, wait and see....
This is an AMAZING strip on every level. Way to go, Tim! You absolutely nailed the BI takeover.
Brewster and Basicinstructions... too much awesome in one strip! I keep the Brewster Cheeto's oriented Sunday strip from a few years ago as my desktop background.

maann - not only did I end up posting my comment twice, but in the meantime Kevin pipped me at the post!

Rocket Hat did not speaks. He was captured by the Moon-Men, who left an imposter in his place so that no-one would notice...SOMEONE DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D:
