Since this comic appeared, I've watched "Apollo 13" about three times (purely for fact-checking purposes, I assure you!) and have not heard that snatch of dialog anywhere. Am I missing something, or did you just "improvise"?

NOTE FROM SCOTT: Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I thought a large problem toward the end of the flight was the "Insertion" into Earth's orbit, which called for them to fire the thrusters for a precise amount of time, and that the computer would usually do it, but they couldn't afford the power, so Kevin Bacon had to do it manually. It is possible that I'm misremembering a detail or two. Anyway, it's not an exact quote, but I was hoping to get close.
