I am disappointed by the webcomic readers of this world. How could anyone not recognize all three and think yes, that indeed looks like a good daydream?

A guest appearance for Chiana from Farscape! (AKA the most awesome sci-fi chick ever) That settles it. You, sir, are the greatest cartoonist the world has ever known!
It depresses me that not many people recognized Chianna from Farscape. Come on people! It was only like one of the best sci-fi shows ever! But EVERYBODY recognizes the stupid girl from that insipid Firefly show.
As a practicing nerd (though not for BSG or FS), I think I can answer the "Why Kaylee instead of Inara?" question. Inara is an exotic courtesan. Kaylee is a nerd. And few things are hotter to the true nerd than another nerd. This is why Willow on Buffy and Fred on Angel were both hotter than Cordelia (though Fred did have that annoying voice....)
I already blogged about the genius of Scott turning the smoking jacket into a subtle running gag - in a comic *about* running gags of a different sort. And here it is again! Gotta love B.I.!
I believe the one on the left is Rommie from Andromeda. And I knew the one on the right was Chianna. The one in the middle was the one that baffled me, but I never did watch much Firefly... Thanks for that one. :^)
Why these choices? because Kaylee and Chiana (don't know about Sharon/Boomer) are young, nubile, and into sex for fun and enjoyment. Inara is about the process (making love) and Aeryn Sun is too military.

This comment thread is the second biggest fail I've ever seen. Only two people correctly identified all three characters, and most of the ones who knew Chiana spelled it wrong. For the record, I know the names and characters of the three women pictured, and I'm a girl. And I'd be happy to do them all.
Plus, it's canon that Kaylee's wicked in the sack. Don't you people watch good shows?

I always wanted a smoking jacket...and a fez! I had the fez at one point, and a wheelchair...but there always seemed to be some sensible woman taking umbrage with my spending habits standing between me and my drawing room attire.

(Not that Kaylee dresses sexily to begin with)
