I love this one! I develop software. Sometimes the non-computer way is the fastest and most efficient simply because of the amount of work it takes to tell the lump of electronics how to organize the bits of electrons.

Yep, cuz as soon as you don’t, something will prevent the computer version from being displayed on the wall/screen.
When it’s time to help the boss — or wife — with the computer, it’s sometimes better to take the assignment early on than to wait for the boss to flounder and scream for help. After that, you’d better hope they’re attempting something you can accomplish on the first try. That’s the only way to defuse the situation. Any amount of fumbling will only allow you to Reap the Fail.
Yes AC has a valid point. I print off copies of poweropoints for my class presentations. Evn though I’m in High School. I find many people like to flip back in the paper packet incase they missed something I said. Plus I get extra credit sometimes. ^_^
Yeah, those handouts for presentations should elaborate what is on the slides. The slides should only be brief outlines. It’s amazing how many “professionals” get it wrong.
I worked for a boss once who had his admin print out all e-mail addressed to him and give it to him a few times a day. His replies, hand-written on note pads, had to be typed by the admin and sent (as him, of course). He fancied himself quite the technologist.

Printing out the PowerPoints… I swear, the person who thought of that should be given a medal and subsequently shot.
The only use I ever found for those damn printouts was fire starters. I’m a pyro at heart.
